Creating Hunter. A 6′ stained-glass/mosaic dolphin. A member of the dolphin pod.

In 2012, the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, with support from the City of Clearwater and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, launched a project to showcase bottlenose dolphins, capitalizing on the dolphin “Winter” from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

50 dolphins were provided to select artists.  Each artist was commissioned to express their specialty on a 6-foot fiberglass dolphin artistically.  My dolphin “Hunter” reflects my specialty, which is stained-glass/mosaics.

From 2012 through 2022, Hunter was displayed at the House of Representatives office in Tallahassee, FL.  Hunter is now installed and proudly displayed on Broadway Ave., Dunedin, FL.
