Dee began her stained-glass art in 1990. Since then, the variety of her work has expanded significantly. Dee masters repurposing found objects and gives them an imaginative new lease in life.
Her compositions are often musical in theme or whimsical in nature. Her work includes many large sculptures and is displayed in Florida businesses as commissioned public art throughout Pinellas County and has been purchased by collectors throughout the country.

Themba, was created after studying the tradition of tribal neck braces of the Ndebele Tribe. I first created her copper outfit, then spray painted her body. I placed aluminum shards for her hair and painted her face resembling the tribe. After attaching the head to her body, I carefully circled 14’ of rope around her neck. Themba means: Trust, Hope. $2,000.
