In 2004, I searched every local stained-glass shop for a piece of glass that would resemble a mountain, but with no success.
As I sat in my work room, wondering how I would create the ocean scene I had in mind, I glanced over at my fish tank and there it was! A piece of slate that perfectly resembled a mountain. And it worked!
